Getting Things Done, for Mageia
It's not a question of priorities IMHO, but what people are willing to organize and get done!Much more can be achieved this way:
- people do what they think important for them
- people do what they are best at, when other things are done at the same time
- parallellization is optimal as people self-organize to deliver what they want
- priorities are identified for those subjects that require it, permitting to identify what works are being done
- at the same time, autonomous threads continue
- regular status ensures that all threads are followed and have regular status published (or when needed), using a wiki to consolidate pov would be fine or getting a follow-up on subjects addressed
Anyway, a ToDo list is always a possibility to identify yet one more thing to do, and take into account what has been done so far perhaps a weekly news like MageiaWeeklyNews201042
Being done for Mageia
- http://donation.mageia.org - work in progress 6500€ so far, needs more to buy an array of disks (servers donated, hosting donated)
- Infrastructure setup
- discussions see http://dir.gmane.org/gmane.linux.mageia.user and http://dir.gmane.org/gmane.linux.mageia.devel

- marketing http://ooogear.co.nz/mageiawiki/
- ML are operational and http://forum.mageia.org are being set up
- one of the current priority is to enable local initiatives, keeping global synchronization, some teaching is still needed like "I tell what I do, then do what I've told and keep informed" (after values, there are good practices :D local initiatives to translate http://blog.mageia.org being a "perfect" example, involving many people to work at their own pace, recruiting and motivating as many people as possible :D)
